Pros

Encouraged to learn and grow personally and spiritually, independently of your work. Summer camp for adults experience. Fun and adventurous. Community living experience if you live on campus for the season. Opportunity to take a lot of classes.

Cons

Pay is low or on a volunteer basis. Housing options can pose challenges if you have allergies. Some cabins and RV's have mold issues.

Pros

*I made some beautiful connections *The surrounding nature and wild life is breathtaking.

Cons

*The People and Culture department is really NOT for the people. *Very clique and no genuine sense of belonging. *Gives the appearance of being a spiritual community, but is clearly all about profit. Not a place for people who are doing the real inner work and serious about their spiritual path. *Besides the salad bar, a lot of processed, carb-heavy food that reminded me of a high school cafeteria. *No real support for their staff's well-being or the space to express grievances. *For the amount being taken out of paychecks, the living spaces are deplorable and need to be updated.

Pros

Many excellent co-workers, good intentions, beautiful site, some interesting programs, decent healthcare benefits

Cons

poor upper level management, questionable business decisions, "classism" between 'elite' employees and those who dealt with consumers, terrible interdepartmental communication, huge discrepancy in pay between tiers in organization--frequently not relative to actual tasks or seniority
