Pros

A lot of people rant and rave about working here. There are great benefits, and I think some good people here. They believe in what they do to a fault and try to do right by their employees.

Cons

OmniSource is far behind modern ways of working that has only been highlighted from COVID-19. Schedules are inflexible, procedures are rigid and dated, and there is no awareness to change these things. The traditional work environment works for a lot of people, but for younger people I don't think there is much draw. Pay is low and justified by benefits, and professional development/career development is lacking.
