Pros

sorry, can't think of any, I'm just treading dirty water until something better comes up or they go under.

Cons

They're secretive, many times we've been warned about notifying customers of faults that could cause major problems for customers if found out, minor hardware to major software issues and its the employees who get the blame. They're deceptive, they tell you one thing and don't follow through on their commitments unless legal action is threatened. Since their inception they have gotten worse with employee's over investors. Also if your not part of HQ you get the scraps, New insurance this year, California (HQ) gets no change but everybody else loses 10% coverage from last year. The install teams keep hiring more people, but not because we have more work, but because of the stuff they're expected to do above what they were told they would do and people are quitting. Few promotions to upper management, they hire outside for most of those positions. Salaries are pretty close to what I was offered 10 years ago. They make you toe the line but are pretty loose in their interpretations of what's required by them. HR likes to tell you what the law is even though none of them are actual lawyers and we are a multi state and multi nation company, that's an awful lot of ground to cover.

Absence of employee career growth

Pros

Centrally located Silicon Valley company. Convenient parking and access to mass transit. Creative hardware and software engineers committed to producing quality products.

Cons

Most of one's time is spent navigating the egos of Marketing leadership. Business strategy, when developed, is forced down with no input from the teams doing the work. Constant one-off projects, that produce little value, take away from long term strategy. Narcissistic leadership prevents team members from presenting or having any exposure to executive level leaders. Company is aware of team's dissatisfaction but makes no changes. Cozy sense of security amongst men in leadership with blatant absence of females in leadership. Ageism is something regularly exhibited. A liability and financial disaster waiting to happen. False sense that the executive team cares about the customer. It's all about the 'deal' then business pressures to realize revenue compromise thorough implementations. Lack of employee empowerment and transparency creates a culture of anxiety. Who will be the next person to fall out of favor?--be aware!

Pros

Active hospital segment customers, good regional sales representatives, parking, easy walk to lunch, transportation

Cons

Poor management, lack of gender and minority representation, favoritism, inexperienced leadership in marketing and sales. Regular disregard for "facts" supporting contrary direction to marketing, product or sales strategy leaders. Communication issues across all departments, non-existent in some cases due to executive level competing egos. Challenged corporate culture and demeaning atmosphere. A definite career busting move to work in certain environments. HR aware of issues, coaches for the incompetent but in place to serve the entity. Steer clear.
