Pros

It’s because they’ve outgrown their model and the overworked, over whelmed, under appreciated, and under paid employees are finally realizing they can get better everything at another job. OnPoint prides itself in running lean and it’s a soul killer for many employees. There’s been a mass exodus lately and with their pay scales they can’t seem to find anyone worth their salt and keep them around. Their benefits are great, but they’re the same at every other credit union in the area.

Cons

If you’re going to apply for a job here go higher than you normally would or think you should when negotiating pay. If your boss is manipulative, cruel, snarky, etc write it all down and keep a record of it because HR (which has nearly entirely turned over twice in the last 1.5 years) is not on your side.

Pros

Health benefits, bonuses but they're small, co-workers can be good people. Please listen to me, I am not some disgruntled employee this is very real. Take the job. Give it 3 months and you will see exactly what I mean.

Cons

Constant stress, poor leadership, low pay, zero work-life balance, you could literally leave this job with mental health problems you didn't have before. I would never recommend anyone work here. The squeaky wheel gets the oil is a phrase you'll hear a lot its code for only the people who complain get anything and the rest of us getting nothing. That's why our branch staff are getting vacays and paid more than everyone else right now- they aren't working while we are working harder than we ever have before and are told to just be grateful. Yeah grateful for the torture and suicidal thoughts. Thanks, onpoint.

Pros

- possibilities to work from home - good benefits - occasional free swag gifts - opportunities to volunteer - free, non-temperature controlled food sometimes

Cons

- toxic workplace - chronically understaffed - underpaid, or not paid for additional skill set (i.e. speaking Spanish) - performative DEI - unreasonable expectations - unclear expectations and plans for change - despite advertising they are for the people, and non-profit, they only care about the profit and how quickly they can grow
