-Huge upside -Monopolised a segment of luxury travel-led leisure with a significant total addressable market -Founder-led company which benefits from a wealth of contacts springing from the founder's experience in the space and serial success -Strong, vibrant culture where the intelligent, dependable and entrepreneurial will not only survive, but thrive -Good exposure to the founder, who is a nightlife/hospitality/business disruptor, and has built a name in several cities for his plethora of high-flying successes and visionary moves. Larger-than-life character, with a contagious positivity and much proficiency to transfer to members of the ONDA family
Cons
-Not for the weak, slow or thick. If you expect your hand to be held in a fast-paced environment with huge equity upside, stick to waiting tables and playing the lottery -As with the moda operandi in early-stage ventures, the pay is heavily performance -based (rewards are typically in stock options), this adds an element of risk and inconsistency to income, so those who are used to salaried jobs and do not understand/appreciate the concept of either the business or private equity will struggle
