Management is all over the place Nepotism and favoritism is rife Technology sounded like it had big issues False promises from leadership Leadership seems to have no idea what they’re doing Speaking up about issues and trying to solve them is received negatively Compliance is rewarded Mass firings over zoom signalled that your job could (and probably will ) be taken away at any moment due to leadership’s poor strategizing Zero communication Zero career development opportunities

Pros

Most people were nice to work with. Fun holiday parties. Remote work environment. Pride in the product out in the market to help people with diabetes.

Cons

Horrendous leadership and mismanagement. Many people have been let go because of this. Not bringing in outside talent to right the ship, it’s been the same heads of department that can’t outgrow their role they started with and have hit a solid ceiling. Compensation levels are paltry compared to the industry and current market. Dwindling cash reserves. People are promoted based on prior friendships with managers. HR takes way too long to get back to prospective candidates so can never hire new talent. Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

- Some great, fun, friendly, smart people to work with - Decent pay - Mediocre benefits (horrible paternity leave, no 401K match, unlimited PTO)

Cons

- Teams and the company overall is unstructured w/ no clear direction - No real on boarding process - HR lead is unprofessional and under qualified - Lack of transparency - Crazy high turn over rates - No real room for growth. Promotions are based on popularity with no clear criteria - Unqualified managers with no managerial training - Underdeveloped product
