Just keeps getting worse

Pros

There are no pros at this time. Ever since the merger things have gotten so much worse.

Cons

Constant fear of losing job and watching what was once a good non profit company just keep firing people and not replacing. Not running like a non profit. CEO keep getting higher wages and hard working employees get nothing.

Pros

A cause that is easy to get behind. Opportunities to move up for those willing to work hard. Good benefits.

Cons

Salaries too high for upper management while success rest on the backs of the front line staff. Hours due to be short staffed makes it impossible to balance work and personal life. Some upper management have a my way or the highway mentality.

Pros

Saving lives, salaries are competitive, they give health insurance and vacation time. They also pay mileage and have short term disability

Cons

No breaks, no employee recognition, management expects you to be a workaholic, they also give a write up whenever they can- no work/life balance. When you try to give your point of view they consider it argumenting. Your working every holiday and every weekend.
