Pros

1. Fantastic culture in the office I was employed by - get to know and care about employees 2. Work/life balance is great 3. Pay and benefits are competitive and fair based on skillset & value prop. Benefits not overwhelming, but fair.

Cons

Overall it's an acquisitive culture focused more on top line than bottom-up growth. Thus: 1. Training is minimal 2. Slightly disorganized leadership in terms of laying out roles & territories in sales 3. Tech is behind competitors

Pros

You work at the Willis Tower.

Cons

EVERYTHING. They micro manage you like you’re in high school. They tell you that you get 30 minutes of personal but they don’t tell you that includes your bathroom breaks. Management is horrible, they promote from within, but all the managers before never wanted to actually become managers. They just wanted to get off the phones. This company no longer cares about their clients at all. Submitting clients with dementia, taking people off their Medicaid plan when they need the food card benefit and making clients medications more expensive.. all just for the numbers. The pay structure is completely backwards. The company gets paid once an application is approved by CMS, managers get paid on applications submitted and agents get paid on applications retained. Care to know how much time you get during the day to do retention? Zero. They tell you to just take more and more inbounds. So we can’t even make sure we’re getting paid on our applications submitted. If you’re reading this and thinking to yourself “is it really that bad there?” It is and don’t even try it for yourself. Company employee retention is horrible. People get hired and quit within a couple months, sometimes a few weeks (not joking); it’s for a reason. There is no fun here at all and all they care about are the numbers. Horrible to see. Adam, I’m sorry you were fooled to buy Healthworks insurance. This place is a joke and that’s why everyone is unhappy here. When you visit June 11th, they’re going to put on a show and pretend we’re one big happy family. Numbers don’t lie and results don’t lie. This review will probably be buried by the fake five star reviews.

Pros

-There are many great people who work at OneDigital. I made many friends, many of who were very supportive and helpful. -Quality company bonding time -Nice office space -Expanding and growing business

Cons

-Extremely poor management -New consultants are not trained to be managers, they automatically jump into the role. Little to no management/leadership training, which is evident. -Very immature managers (My manager talked negatively and made fun of everyone in our office, as well as our clients and the insurance carriers. She is a toxic and cold person.) -Zero consistency across teams. If you get a bad manager, you’re stuck and because they are the consultants, you have no say in anything. -The company promotes communication and team support, but when it comes down to it, they do not treat you like humans. -Manager has no conflict resolution skills or ability to see outside of her viewpoint to help you become better. No advice, no open conversations, no communication about how I feel, simply just work conversations. -A revolving door company. You are treated as just a number and a machine to get work done. No empathy or compassion. I was treated like I never mattered after all the work I put in to support my team/manager and the company. -Commission earnings are inconsistent and when you begin receiving commissions is inconsistent across teams. If you work for a newer consultant, you will not make nearly as much money as other teams until they grow their book of business. How much money you make depends on what team you happen to land on. -You are basically a slave to your manager, who has no problem replacing you. -Lack of support, compassion, and empathy for your real life issues that occur both inside and outside of work -Managers cannot take feedback or listen to individual needs. The managers try to make it a one size fits all mentality, which is just not the case given different team dynamics, different number of team members, different books of business, etc. -My mental health has struggled immensely from this job because of the work I put in but the lack of support, guidance, and appreciation I received. -My manager made me feel extremely uncomfortable and micromanaged my every move. -Little to no training, you learn as you go.
