Pros

People in the branch get to know the customers as they tend to repeat business opportunity to make a lot of money on commissions generally easy job generous with time off

Cons

collections employees held responsible for circumstances out of control too much favoritism upper management will tell employees what they want to hear with no intention of following through unrealistic goals little opportunity for advancement unless you stay there for 15+ years or get promoted to Manager in training and agree to relocate to one of 3 districts rewards are based on loan generation and insurance sales alone, therefore employees that do a lot of loans but don't follow through with correct paper work, etc are never punished because of the money they generate

Pros

its a great company, has a very challenging environment with best set of professionals in the team , citifinancial recoginises its employee's on merits, quaterly sip incentives based on performance are good

Cons

overall i was satisfied with my tenure in citifinancial, well lately the yearly increments were less but then overall financial sector was not doing well due to recession, again compared to the industry, increments were good enough.

Pros

The benefits were decent and there are some great people working here. Having the majority of my weekends to myself. Still doing business in local communities as opposed to centralized 800 #'s for customers only to talk to recordings and automated systems.

Cons

Too much turbulence and uncertainty. Lack of job security regardless of how well you perform and how much you've contributed. Opportunities for advancement has become increasingly limited - BM and above. The company preaches customers first, yet some practices would indicate otherwise. I'm expected to perform miracles and be scorned if I iddn't
