Pros

Can't really think of anything

Cons

Taking time off is extremely difficult due to exceptionally high workload and the process needed to be taken to find backups. No set number of vacation days so employees don't get paid for unused PTO when they leave. During a monthly all-company meeting, the CEO expressed his strong opposition to a vaccine mandate and strong opposition to wearing masks in the office.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Although workloads in some departments may be heavy, we are continuing to grow our workforce. However, your mental health and well-being are most important. We encourage you to take time as needed. Reach out to your manager or your HR Business Partner to discuss your specific situation and let us know how we can help. Value #8 is Seek the Best for Others at OSV. We want to ensure we are doing the right thing for the entire company and that is following the current CDC guidelines with respect to mask wearing. We believe employees would feel most comfortable at home without having to wear a mask indoors for the duration of the day. Regarding the vaccination mandate, we are waiting on more information from the Department of Labor per guidance, requirements, rules, exemptions, etc. Since we don’t have any of that information as of today, we will remain status quo with the majority of the workforce continuing to work from home. We will continue to monitor the situation. Our employees’ health and safety will always remain a top priority for us.

Thank you for your feedback! We love this beautiful building and the openness that creates such amazing collaboration. Career growth, good hospitality, and friendly teammates aligns itself perfectly with OSV's values. We love your suggestion on the cultural activities. So much so, we have already provided your feedback to our Manager of Culture and Engagement. Since we don't have a cafe, we wanted to make sure our teammates have plenty of convenient food options. So, we partnered with Parks, Foodsby and Fooda to do just that! Please keep the great suggestions coming, we like the way you think!

Pros

I didn’t find one pro whilst working at Onesource Virtual. Anything that the company once stood for, has now disappeared.

Cons

Horrible atmosphere Unrealistic targets Over worked under severe pressure. Expectation to work well above european working hours dirctive, this right is waved when signing contract. Not enough staff to maintain workload, things are at boiling point. Some of the leadership were questionable appointments, by everyone and now it is starting to tell. The original soul of the company is now gone, trying to be big corporate, and have removed all the original founders from positions of power.

Thank you for your willingness to share your views on OSV. This information along with the information that you recently provided us on your exit interview helps us focus on one of our key strategic initiatives this year which is “Be the Employer of Choice”. While it is never easy to hear harsh words, it drives us to continually inspect our ways of working and look for further improvement and refinement. I’d like to specifically address some of the points you raised. First of all, our targets for utilisation are quite in line with industry standards and similar to many of the partners in the Workday ecosystem. It is common for many companies in a high growth mode like ours to experience extremely busy periods that at times requires additional effort, and which is honoured with flexible working wherever possible. We are mindful of our employees’ work life and balance and thus continue to add new team members on a regular basis. In fact, we have had over 20 people join our organisation (mostly in professional services) in the first quarter of 2018. To the point you raise about a forced waiver under the working time directive - we observe all legal requirements in our respective locations and those requirements include the choice for the employee to opt in or out of the working time directive arrangements. I’d like to address your comment about the leadership and the “lack of the original soul” in the company. OSV has always been a very entrepreneurial organisation and the recent changes we have made both in region and globally allow for our team members to better offer their perspective and input. We hold regular round table discussions, provide ongoing feedback surveys and even monthly huddles in our locations to gain insight and suggestions from our teams. As a result, we have made many positive changes. As a note, our original founders have not been removed from “positions of power”, but now operate in even more strategic roles on our board to help guide OSV into the next generation. I am truly sorry if your experience over nearly the past three years has not been as positive as you hoped. We wish you the best in your future roles and hope that the technical and business training and experience you have gained from us will help you to be successful!
