Pros

They are always hiring and there is a lot of very nice, friendly, hardworking people there. The company works with an exciting product and is growing extremely fast.

Cons

They draw you in with talk of growth, values, a fun culture and all the awards the company has won. After being hire and going through the "boot camp" employees typically receive the minimum training needed to do their job, they are over worked, under paid and given no meaningful professional development. Raises are a joke (maybe 3% annually if you are an ideal employee, lucky and your boss really likes you) and they almost always hire from the outside rather than promote from within. Clear favoritism in treatment and compensation are show to close friends and family of executives. They have a great list of corporate values, but it is used when convenient and ignored when it is not. Lots of drama and conflict between managers, between departments and between employees and their manager. Also, don't be fooled by the high overall rating on this website. It is monitored by the company and anytime the rating gets below a certain level employees are selected and encouraged get on here and post a positive review....classy move from a company that lists integrity as a core value.

Pros

The employees are the best thing about this company, they are a close knit team and support each other. The new building is very nice Flexibility for work at home opportunities

Cons

The management is not consistent across channels. Some managers have had no leadership training - it shows. There are different styles of leadership in each area, which makes it difficult to be cohesive. Instead, it breeds resentment between departments and locations (in the U.S.)

Pros

There are many nice and helpful people at the lower level of the organization.

Cons

Executives have hyped the company to investors and execs now have their initial payout. This has placed an enormous burden on employees who are forced to work sweatshop-like hours to meet the investor's financial goals. The Christmas letter to employees instructed them to work harder and longer hours rather than to enjoy time with family, this is a consistent theme. The promise of an IPO to attract and retain talent is a common inventive but this company does not share the wealth via employee stock options. The long hours needed to reach the utilization targets are rewarded with meager bonuses for even the best performers. This company was on a high growth trajectory but many consultants are now idle in the US and UK resulting in layoffs. The company's focus is on converting Workday implementations into long term Workday support contracts. The consultants are a key part of this strategy but do not have a long term future in the organization.
