Low Pay - High Expectations

Pros

Great opportunity to learn skills straight out of college

Cons

Poor managers who constantly blame low level employees for everything. Make a mistake due to systems being overly complicated? Called into the office for a brow beating. Do it again? Fired. All this stress for silly low pay.

Not Worth the Investment

Pros

-Supportive colleagues had been consistently friendly and capable, creating a positive work atmosphere -Colleagues had been highly motivated and hardworking; their dedication had been instrumental in helping the company remain afloat. -Day to day interactions had been enjoyable and uplifting, thanks to the strong camaraderie among coworkers

Cons

-Pay had been poor -Training had been inadequate. It felt as useful as a fast-food employee in a lab coat -Long-term employees had been consistently overlooked for open positions in favor of external hires, then tasked with training those hires without receiving recognition or advancement -Management had been passive; when issues arose, they neglected oversight and failed to take decisive action, which prolonged stress and tension for their teams -High turnover rate that appears to be seasonal
