Pros

A new company that is growing and needs leaders to help define the organization. Lots of opportunity to make a difference. It's the perfect place to work if you are creative, hard working and passionate about making something new. Many good people working here.

Cons

It is not for everyone and not a 40 hour week. There are lots of long hours and controlled chaos. Many systems and programs are still being defined.

Pros

- Challenging and fast paced, development here will rarely leave you bored and is flexible to new software. - If you have an idea and spend time prototyping it (sometimes time is given and other times you have to prototype in your own time) the company will often go through an adoption process and make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. Really gratifying both in terms of pay and recognition. - Realistic expectations - Generous amount of time off - Benefits and RRSP Matching - Great Management Team - Pretty much the best job I have ever had In summary I get fair pay, full time work, and feel recognized when I accomplish something.

Cons

- It's still a growing company. Not all the processes have matured and sometime I work odd hours. This is mitigated by time of in lieu of working these odd hours and is often paid back in spades. Eg. if I have to work at 9PM I'm allowed to leave early and if I have to take support requests, that's basically all I'm required to do in a day. - High pressure and fast paced (arguably a pro for some but if you're not into that sort of thing...) with new products having quick release cycles and old products having massive enhancements.

During our Q4 Earnings Call, our CEO Vijay touched on our continued focus on environmental innovation with R&D and additional patents awarded, along with several patents filed and/or awaiting review. Montrose can only be a leading and innovative company by giving our employees the space to try new things. Glad to hear our management team acknowledges and values your and others’ efforts and that Montrose is the best job you ever had. We continue to benchmark compensation and benefit practices and glad to see packages are seen as competitive at the employee level. Lastly thank you for the insightful advice and can ensure you the executive team is actively discussing ways that we can better communicate within and between the organization. Thank you for your review – I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
