Pros

The benefits except the vacation time

Cons

Seriously non professional leadership. They honestly have a clue about how a manufacturing establishment should run

Pros

Tons of overtime. Some people are a delight to work with. Some can just go away.

Cons

This company loses very important paperwork. The administrators never take blame for their mistakes and take it out on the technicians. They play the blame game until it's water under the bridge. Also this company loves to hire the wrong people into higher up positions. People that lack people skills and display some kind of mental illness. But that's just me. This company pushes you to work overtime too, which could be a bad thing if it's too much. Then they get an attitude with you. The All Hands meetings are the worst. They expect us to make the numbers but we have to attend this meeting once a month just to see the higher ups bro five one another. These meetings does no benefit the techs. a waste of time.

Pros

Nice colleagues. Fair pay. Brand new facility expansion and office area. Learning ground for inexperienced young professionals (small pond leadership opportunity and manufacturing exposure, not best practices).

Cons

Woefully insufficient parking. Location in Creedmoor/Butner (unactionable after expansion). Full-time in-office requirement feels arbitrary (or blindly old school?). Good for having meetings in-person or production collaboration, but not necessarily every day. High turnover, with flippant jokes and acceptance by some people. Questionable what director level is doing. Manager level doing the best they can. Always shorthanded and so can’t implement PMO framework to get the business running more logically. Business model (acquiring random collection of old parts that previous owners don’t want anymore) lacks any unifying vision (beyond $$) or creative product development opportunity. Annual bonus target of 15% advertised in offer is unrealistic (only if annual profit numbers are exceeded, while reality is lots of OT trying to get close to baseline). Questionable future. Widely anticipated that current ownership bought them, are currently pumping them up, and intend to sell again in the next few years.
