      Morally corrupt leadership without a backbone

      Hard to point to any positives at present

      It is becoming clear that the new leadership is morally corrupt and does not have the integrity or the backbone to make good decisions. In a very short time period they have created a toxic work place, that allows bullies and racists to operate without risk of any consequences. Ookla has lost its shine as a great place to work but most importantly the moral fiber of the company has been decimated by the attitude and behavior of the new management team.

      Used to have some of the brightest people in leadership

      Cons

      Ookla has definitely spoiled, leaving a sour taste in everyone's mouths. More and more employees are starting to smell the stink coming out of leadership. I think the new hires are also smelling it too. It's discouraging to see such a great company crumble because of new leadership's lack of trust, transparency, and backbone.

      none that I can think after recent management changes

      New management is allowing hostile and toxic individuals to flourish and they appear to be supported by the parent company. Micromanagement is creeping in and many employees do not feel safe in the new environment. Employee wellbeing, work life balance and career development looks like it will suffer under this new management team. Expect further layoffs and resignations.
