Great overall, but feels the pain of growing companies and diminished startup culture

Pros

It's a solid product that's focused on reducing our carbon footprint. If you're technical, you get a lot of experience with big data systems that you might not get elsewhere. Tons of working products for you to learn and grow from, if you're smart at picking that up.

Cons

It's nowhere near a startup culture anymore. It's large, and it's very sales driven. Money, money, money. Plus the recent Oracle acquisition is flushing out all the old employees and bringing in a bunch of large corporate Oracle employees.

Pros

Not a whole lot anymore. The company sold out and all of the talent is leaving. The existing employees at Oracle seem displaced while the OPower team bleeds out into nothing. Only people remaining are there because of golden handcuffs, not because they want to be.

Cons

Read all of the other reviews. Anything I say is only redundant.
