Pros

The pay that was offered was well above what I had been making prior. My coworkers were hard working and dedicated to their profession. My supervisor made the environment less stressful and was overall fair to me.

Cons

Management. I have to admit that I was taken off guard by just how toxic someone in a position of authority could be. Every day, she made me dread going in to work. I was hired to compound, and I was repurposed to doing exhausting labor instead of doing what I had spent time perfecting. They would say (or scream) about how they are well within their right to shift my position to another one; which is true. But when they make offers in the initial interview, understand it is likely entirely fabricated. The money, albeit substantial, was not at all worth the toll it will take on you. Also; you will likely have to work overtime if you wish to be in favor of management. So forget about having any kind of social or family life.

Pros

Good benefit package. Flexibility to work from home.

Cons

Insecure, verbally abusive and horrifyingly inept leadership that will micromanage your every task. No empowerment. No work life balance. When you ask for resource support because you’re working a 60+ hour work weeks you’ll be told to “learn to work more efficiently”. Company is in the red, highly leveraged with negative earning per share to stockholders.
