Pros

Get to work closely with students mentoring them and impacting them, helping them get through their courses and graduate high school

Cons

Was laid off in a chaotic, unorganized way when school' s charter wasn't renewed. a lot of administrative duties although they seemed to have alleviated much of that since i had worked there. Things always changing, students coming and going frequently, management wanting to keep student for $$ even thought the dont show up, upper management/ founders not in touch what is happening with the school/student level, not much room for advancement, only received 2 raises in 7 years.

Pros

Great environment. The founders really care for their employees. Some bonus throughout the year. Get to really know the students. Great health care coverage!! Yearly reviews for pay increase.

Cons

Not much for position advancement unless you start teaching. A lot of new duties get put on the CC position. Not much else to complain about!
