      Pros

      Work life balance is available in some teams. Learning opportunities may be an option, also not available to all.

      Cons

      Optiv promises no Layoffs will happen and then go right ahead to lay off employees quietly. The same thing happened in 2017, in 2020 and now in 2022. Not a place to build a career. Takes years for promotions to happen in some departments. They will lay you off and retain teammates in India because it’s cheaper to do some. No consideration for work quality.

      Outstanding leadership in the Services practice; competing business expectations hold them back from focusing on the areas they are experts in.

      Cons

      Ratios are terribly out of balance especially for managers and HR support. Too much is expected without viable and realistic support. Creates fatigue and then errors, which in turn are blamed on the manager or HR partner
