Pros

It's exciting to be on the front lines of the fastest growing industry. I would say the people are the best part, though. Optiv is loaded with SMEs and true thought leaders in cyber security. These same people have been approachable and genuine to me, not coming from a security-specific background. Leadership has done a fantastic job with adjusting to our new covid reality. Communication has been clear and consistent, and decisions have been made with a people and safety first mindset.

Cons

The only con is a big "if". If you are not accustomed to a fast pace and changing environment, then Optiv is likely not a good fit.

Pros

Great company to work for, really great money as well. Top-performing consultants can make in the 225K - 250K range per year

Cons

Every year something changes from the top, they are never satisfied. Work-life Ballance can be somewhat of a struggle esp if you have many account reps and many accounts in your pool .
