Pros

Salary and pto are ok, not great, just ok

Cons

I read all the bad reviews when I applied and didnt listen. Now I live it, US employees are treated like dirt, constant re-organizations to shift who your manager is so many times. I think they do it to justify constant layoffs and replacing US employees with cheap labor from India. My small team had 6 US employees and 3 offshore, 2 years later 2 US employees 6 offshore. I don't know how this can even be considered a US company anymore . All of your data is in India or the Philippines, unprotected. Very scary and disgraceful. What do you expect when the CEO isn't even a US resident/citizen. In terms of pay, even with exceptional rating you are lucky to get a 1 percent increase. If your yearly bonus is expected to be 12% expect more like 1.5% due to "company hardship". Only 3 billion in yearly profits and Witty needs a yacht.

Pros

Coworkers are great, but that's changing as everyone runs away from here.

Cons

Constant fear of layoffs Execs make a fortune while workers get cheated Horrible benefits, even though they are the insurance provider Hear talk about diversity while they keep promoting straight white man after straight white man. They'll put women of color in charge of meeting intros though, so that they can claim inclusivity. They look to cheat employees in every way, ensuring they don't ever receive or a save single penny that could make its way to a executive pocket. They just buy any competition so pretty soon everyone in health will work for Optum. If they are buying your company, run now.
