Pros

Good co-workers. Management is highly technical.

Cons

Lack of leadership skills and passive aggressive behavior from management. Low moral. Low likelihood of receiving full bonus potential. Employees are talked down too often.

Pros

Has the feel of a small company, lots of opportunities to created procedures and create training.

Cons

They are owned by United healthcare, Optum does not get the same benefits as United healthcare employees get. Benefits are terrible. In the two years I worked there, their were 6 layoffs.
