Terrible Management

Pros

* Awesome direct manager and coworkers until everyone left...

Cons

* Terrible merger process * obviously no upward mobility * Christmas season = layoff season. Although they've layoff and outsourced 90% of the pipeline by now so I don't think if there's any room to trim left.

Pros

It will pay for groceries and utilities

Cons

Don't be fooled by the cool "work at optum" imagery on their website Expensive health insurance They count your badge swipes to see if you are "coming into the office" Rampant intra-company politics At end of year they steal your accrued vacation that is over 40 hours HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Cheap - Employees get up at 3am for Program increment planning sessions because they are too cheap to fly anyone
