      good place to waste time and skills

      Pros

      - not very demanding or time consuming as most other dev jobs - good health insurance - good place to be if you are working another job - good place to be if you want to spend more time with family and a lot less working

      Cons

      - working with Oracle ADF is frustrating - a lot of the technology you learn is from the Oracle proprietary tech stack - no salary raises for long periods of time, no bonus - Some incompetent people in upper management - no innovation or ground breaking tech work as such

      Pros

      Good learning opportunities in diverse fields, from architecture to servers etc. Excellent work life balance ( but no one will prevent you if you want to work more :P )

      Cons

      Slow development process, takes time to start using new technology. Its more like a government job, no incentives even if you perform beyond what is expected. Also fixed years to get a hike or promotion (not based on performance)

      Pros

      Work environment is good. Friendly people and easy to maintain your personal and professional life, especially for women. Flexible timing.

      Cons

      Sometimes upper management neglects employee completely. Project planning is too poor. Designation maintenance is poor.
