Pros

Ability to work with global customers working on mission-critical applications. There is very little "dead wood" in this company so expect to work with qualified people that get the job done

Cons

If you crave a lot of management feedback, frequent reviews, and yearly salary adjustments -- this is not the place for you. Like a stern grandfather, you'll often hear how to improve with very few thank you's.

Winners mentality

Pros

Winners mentality. If you work in a business unit with truly leading products/services for the specific market, you will enjoy working in Oracle especially if you like to work in a process oriented company with clearly defined roles.

Cons

Winners mentality. If you happen to work in a business unit that does not have a leading position in its market you will struggle with the lack of customer focus, arrogance and complicated internal processes. Not the best choice if you are a creative entrepreneur.
