Pros

I can give my thoughts about Engineering - If you are in Database organization, it is pretty stable. But Middleware team is going through many changes. Applications team is also reasonably stable. But most of the new investment and focus is going in the new Cloud division.

Cons

If you are not in the Cloud division, it is hard to grow in career.

Pros

Relaxed work culture Work life balance Try to make a trun around in cloud world You can negotiate for a good salary when you come in Some folks are brilliant in their work No gender bias or culture difference

Cons

Minimal use of latest technology Not much salary growth Not much movement in your promotion at Sr level or perhaps nil All decision take in HQ so you feel left out in IDC in term of decision making but still better than a bunch of company as you still work on the core product and do development on them.
