Oracle is growing fast in the cloud SaaS and PaaS divisions and it is exciting to work in the cloud infrastructure and cloud application development teams. The company still needs to do a lot on its other key businesses to catch up

Cons

This is a company which was once good in taking care of its employees but not anymore. Meagre yearly bonus and stock options are slowly driving quality people out of here.

God work life balance but real bad salaries

Pros

Generally most of the employees have a good work life balance. But still depends upon your team. Nice people around to work with.

Cons

Oracle itself is like 2 kind of companies - Oracle and Oracle GBUs. GBUs have real bad work culture in some teams and real bad increments as compared to Server technology or Fusion teams. Even hike cycle is different for GBU and main organization. A lot of people in mid level management are really obsolete and relics. They have limited thought process and almost no real vision.
