Don’t expect compensation increases

Pros

Oracle positions have large salary ranges. If you are an external hire, this can work to your advantage.

Cons

Oracle‘s highest priority is shareholders over clients. Even performers who work hard and meet expectations may not receive receive a compensation increase. Enterprise level decisions around funding compensation also impact your ability to be promoted.

Terribly Mismanaged Company

Pros

Great parental benefits. You get parental leave as well as benefits for reproductive services. Work from home, remote capacity

Cons

Horribly low salaries, won’t even meet average market value, no promise of raises or salaries on a year to year basis. Company does not set you up for success, and will never give you the tools to be setup for success so they can justify giving you “meets expectations” on your annual review. No transparency from upper management and will never hesitate to lay people off to better the bottom dollar. As long as they continue to make a profit, and the higher ups satisfy their stakeholders, they will never worry about the impact their decisions make on their employees. You will always be a number and never treated like a person. I would consider any opportunity for employment with caution as there a significant more cons then pros.
