Pros

1. iflex means onsite. Thatz where u learn the tricks of the trade. 2. Customer interaction. Handling customers of different geographies, language, business styles. you get to see only here. 3. Knowledge in Banking will improve in a large way and also knowing the way things done in different countries is all an addon in your experience.

Cons

1. Very Long Workhours. 2. Balance between personal and professional life depends totally on the project you are put on. 3. Technical skills limited to use in making the product. Can lead to staleness in the long run. 4. Project Planning and execution of tasks is haphazardly and needs a long way to catch up to meet industry standards.

Pros

-Good name, catchy on resume -Has medical/health benefits

Cons

-Good initial offer but no increase after -Very big company, leader on field, bought so many companies but has no budget for compensation for employees, they can't even give a budget for a Christmas party -Very poor management, managers depend on their subordinates. They can't even do their own jobs. Some are incompetent! It is by title that they are managers, but not by thinking and by decision making skills. Some do not even know who their subordinates are. How can an employee be promoted if his manager does not even have the effort of observing, knowing and evaluating his subordinates? -Hired managers from other companies change the inside processes of the company. They pull off so many changes which are irrelevant and not beneficial. They act like they know everything but the truth is that they don't know a thing about how things are run before they even arrived in the company. -They don't have any retention plans, they are okay with dissatisfied employees leaving because they know they can easily hire new employees. -If you are looking for career advancement, this is not the place for you.

Pros

- the health benefits are comprehensive - de minimis benefits helps support the employees financially (a little bit) - they also provide free over the phone psych consultations to help you manage your stress and pressure at work

Cons

- you feel like a prostitute working here. All management can think of is the client's needs and you're left feeling like crap trying to fulfill it. You go through the stress and intense pressure, you do all-nighters and then what? You're not even rewarded for it. No pay raise, no bonuses not even a holiday Christmas party :(( - It's true, the managers don't really care/value you. They perceive you like a piece of replaceable raw material. - they always make excuses about economic crisis and company acquisitions but in reality, pay increase at oracle is a myth
