Pros

Oracle is a great place to start out at and a great place to learn. Lots of intelligent people to soak up knowledge from.

Cons

Management is not concerned with performance but with only how billable you are. Compensation is low in comparison to other competitors and raises are incredibly low considering the company's profit margin and the billing rates. Politics are a major part in determining promotions.

Pros

Pay is decent, benefits are quite good, work environment is flexible and day to day work is not micro managed.

Cons

Big company beaurocracy. Money decisions are micro managed way too high up the executive chain. Too many tasks are delegated to normal employees that should be handled by HR, etc. Pay adjustment models seem to be designed to push out large numbers of people assuming a huge number of drastic underperformers.

Pros

Oracle recognizes your work. There is some real good leadership in Sales org. Internal certification and Oracle benefits is a plus.

Cons

There is some politics in the workplace and sometimes things take longer to execute. But in general its a good place to work.
