      Can learn lots, good infrastructure, decent canteen

      Cons

      Not a good department to be in, salary hikes are non existent. Lot of politics. Have to be in good books of your manager to move ahead.

      Pros

      Some really good people to work with and great technology products. Flexible working and benefits a real plus. Good on your CV

      Cons

      Mediocre and politically motivated management (at all levels) struggle to cope. Virtually non-existent career path. Annual pay increments are equally elusive.

      Pros

      Oracle has a great benefits package and Thames Valley Park in Reading is a realy great location to work. The culture is respectful and there are some nice people to work alongside.

      Cons

      Rewards for work can be hard to come by and middle management doesn't always seem to be tuned in with the direction of the global management team.
