Pros

Lots of perks, like health, and gym. Also great access to a lot of certification and classes. Definite ability to grow.

Cons

Can be very stressful, and a lot of different orgs and teams to work with.

Pros

Some of the smartest database and enterprise information technology people in the world work here. Still the 800 pound gorilla of enterprise tech. Ellison has kept pace with the changing tech world and reinvented the company several times. Interesting work with the world's biggest customers.

Cons

Pay is way below average for the tech industry. Have to leave and come back to get a raise, or just leave - lost a lot of talent due to this. Sales management doesn't understand the missing pieces to make customers successful after the deal is done, or doesn't care. Ellison is 70 years old - who will take over when he is gone?

Pros

Lots of resources and internal help available as needed.

Cons

Can be too structured - too process driven to get some things done.
