Pros
They have great benefits and a good starting salary. Of all the different teams and products at Oracle, I am lucky to be in a very good group for a good product. My group works in smaller teams, and our product is a smaller product so we have more control over our code, thus making a bigger difference to the product. I did start at Oracle in a different group and it wasn't as enjoyable or rewarding.
Cons
It is a big company, and you might not initially know if the group you are joining is good for you or not. But it is relatively easy to switch within the company. Promotions and raises are also quite infrequent. I know great engineers who have been working there for years but haven't moved any where.
