      Pros

      A solid company. Lots of excellent talent, a multi-cultural global workforce, a good resume addition.

      Cons

      Poor management. Many technical types are kicked upstairs into management positions where they flail, having no clue about how to manage people in a modern software development environment. Much intra-org competition and redundancies resulting in fractures, factionalism and subcultures that are remnants of acquisitions that somehow never got assimilated. Who is the real Oracle?

      Pros

      Oracle believes in Self service and rightly so. The work atmosphere is the best at Oracle. The work done is appreciated a lot.

      Cons

      But the bonuses/hikes are very meagre.
