Will start your career off young, give you mobility and give you stripes to build your resume. Lots of tools and resources at your disposal. Great people to work around, sharp leaders. Great pay if you're a tenured outside hire.

Cons

98% territory based, if you have a bad patch, you will not succeed unless you hit the lottery. Terrible in terms of career progression compensation. You must be an outside hire, or leave and come back to make any real money. Quotas are insane now and very hard to hit.

A lot of enablement, you learn a lot, great compensation, interesting customer conversations

It really depends which team you land and what manager you have. I was lucky to have some good managers and occasionally one terrible but others weren’t so lucky. Sales are all very intense
