The best company I've ever worked for

Pros

Strong team environment, a management team that really cares about its employees and customers, a good benefits package and a fun, rewarding job. Don't believe all the bad reviews you're reading...most of them were written by disgruntled ex-employees who were let go due to performance issues. If you do your job and do it well, you will succeed here. There are growth opportunities for those with the drive to succeed, and our benefits package is MUCH nicer than most of the other companies I've worked for, especially given the size of the company.

Cons

It's true that sometimes doing a good job can lead to another job, and sometimes additional work is piled on for those who are capable of handling it. However, you will be rewarded for such work, sometimes in financial terms and sometimes in other ways.

Pros

The atmosphere at work is great. There are a lot of recent college grads, and it caters to that. There are free drinks/snacked (which sometimes take a bit to get replenished), sporadic nerf gun wars, and the people are great. There are a lot of people that hang out outside of work and there are people with all kinds of interests. Gamers, people into sports, etc. Everyone is friendly and is willing to extend a helping hand because they all remember being "the new guy" themselves. Management is also understanding, and somewhat open as well, although you generally have to go to them first.

Cons

The main downside is the pay. I can only speak to the remote testing side as a contractor (through a recruiting service, so Orasi doesn't 100% control what we get paid). Generally is a 6 month contract-to-hire deal for people who have come to the company in the past year or so I believe. You really never know if you are going to be brought on perm in 6 months or not, it could be up to 7 or even 8 months in most cases. At the end of the 6 month contract usually nothing changes until you get called up out of the blue. Again, this is how it generally happens from my understanding. Also you have to have a certain mindset to really enjoy QA. There is the automated side and manual side. Sometimes it can be a little dry, however Orasi has some big name clients, so depending on the project, it can make up for that.

Pros

Train and provide ideas to grew up. Good hikes. Security of job is there.

Cons

Micromanagement is there and expect more efforts rather than experience.
