      Great energy, excellent downtown location, friendly employees, well recognized brand, technology focus

      Cons

      Meddlesome board of directors. Private equity ownership and unsuccessful IPO continue to plague the company's ability to be nimble and compete aggressively. Exuberant CEO has deep passion for the industry and a lot of potential, yet over compensates for his lack of intrinsic leadership skills with over bearing analysis and tunneling into self-indulgent minutia.

      Pros

      One of the best things about Orbitz is the people. No matter the department, you will find talented, intelligent people. Morale has also improved significantly over the last few years with our new leadership team. There is never a dull day. Movement by competitors or within the industry keep the pressure on to continually improve and innovate.

      Cons

      Leadership sometimes asks people to do too much at once. People can lose focus and their work suffers because of it.

      Flexible working hours and WFh allowed Talented people willing to try new technologies. On leading edge of Tech Great location Competitive salary

      Cons

      a lot of good people left or are leaving. Benefits are not great Too many sr Management. Compensation and promotions much better at higher level that at developer level basis of promotions and career path not clear A lot of paperwork/process to get code deployed.
