I love the flexibility of working for Origami Risk. I feel that Origami values the mental health of its employees and encourages a good work life balance.
Cons
Getting up to speed when starting was difficult due to a lack of training resources. That being said, the company has placed a high value on internal training and things have improved even since my short time here.
-I started during the pandemic, so I have not had a chance to experience the full in-person culture, but I already enjoy the culture so much virtually and know it will only improve.
-Work loads are managed as well as they can, which promotes a relatively good work/life balance
-Work location and hours are flexible
-GREAT colleagues. Everyone is intelligent and hardworking.
Cons
Tracking billables is a bit annoying, but it helps with capacity planning so the benefits outweigh the negatives.
