Pros

The ability to work remote, and the pay was at/slightly above market rate

Cons

Ugh, where to begin. Original group that worked together before they rebranded are the textbook definition of a clique, and best believe they'll remind you of how "cohesive" they are every chance they get. If one of them doesn't like you, none of them will - and they'll look for every reason to put you on a PIP and shove you out the door. There's a reason they have a ton of roles open right now - no one outside their snotty little "family" can make it more than a couple of years. If you value your mental health even a little bit, I strongly suggest finding another place to work.

Pros

The ability to work Remotely

Cons

Very clicky personnel. Most have worked elsewhere together and have all left because of the work environment there. But they have all come to Origence and guess what? The environment is now the same at Origence because it’s the same people doing what I am sure are the same things - only now they are supervisors and/or management

Pros

Some good people still here. descent pay, and good benefits.

Cons

Very unsure and completely lost is how I would describe my past 2 years here, with sudden requirement changing during planning. to late hot fixes that take priority over other planned work. Management keeps looking down at their own development teams, which maintain the company money making software... Cu direct, or Origence is not a career building company, it's more of a step in the way if you need a job badly, Cu direct is super unstable, with systematic layoffs each year or so, they are still trying to figure out if they are or it's a company which invested 0 dollars in "renewing" or upgrading their software stack, and kept legacy services since 2005 or so, their is some attempts to build new web frontend to their but this too is having serious issues, after fully going offshore!!
