It's a spider's web. Crushes our will to live and sucks the life out of us
Pros
As a developer an employee can consider working in this company as a learning experience. Each resource whether QA/Dev has the opportunity to learning about SQL queries, backend coding etc.
Cons
As a QA, an employee has the most faintest chance of leaving this company because the company has a solid 3 month notice period for which no other company waits. The work life balance is very poor. The HR team is there just for name sake. All decisions regarding an employee are taken by the Managers. The company says that its only 8 hours inside office, but by the time you are done screwed, it will be at-least 12 hours in office. In most of the projects during build days, employees(especially QA) are required to sit in office for more than 24 hours and also asked to work on weekends. No tools available for self growth. None of the automation/performance testing application like QTP, Selenium, Jay Meter, Load Runner, Lisa etc are being used here. Only an internal tool is available.
