HR lobby in Orion

Pros

No pros. No pros. No pros.

Cons

At Orion, employees are often silenced when they express genuine concerns. Many have been told to “keep quiet” or face consequences, including termination, for simply voicing dissatisfaction. Seeing this trend nobody dares to speak. A powerful HR lobby with the support of top HR exploits employee vulnerabilities and selectively targets individuals who do not align with certain internal groups. The company culture fosters favouritism—especially toward those closely connected to HR. Merit and hard work often take a backseat to internal alliances. Qualified employees are repeatedly overlooked for promotions, while new leaders are brought in externally, undermining existing talent and morale. Retention practices are questionable at best. Rather than addressing issues transparently, the approach seems focused on making employees uncomfortable enough to resign voluntarily. Complaints are routinely ignored, and those who speak up are placed on performance improvement plans, a tactic often used to justify termination. When a reporting manager decides to terminate an employee, the decision often goes unquestioned, and the employee is let go without consideration for their contributions. In HR and IT, many individuals have been hired at disproportionately high salaries. Nepotism appears prevalent, with relatives being placed in strategic roles to monitor others. There is growing frustration among employees due to unequal salary structures within the same team. Individuals with more experience often find themselves earning less, leading to demotivation, underperformance, and eventually, attrition or termination. Adding to the imbalance, HR seems to benefit from perks and advantages across multiple channels—privileges not extended to the broader employee base. This environment has become increasingly toxic and demoralizing, and there is an urgent need for transparency, fairness, and accountability at all levels.

Pros

Work from home is available with flexible time, Will get 2 months of good trainings for freshers, which covers all basics to start as programmer. Provide learning platforms also, which help us updated to the technology. Always encourage to learn new things. Saturday and Sunday off. For freshers for learning new things alternate Saturdays will be considered as working for self study. Working in a project is also very nice. Will get enough time to adjust with new projects.

Cons

Not much. Since its work from home, haven't been able to see anyone yet.
