      It’s all about the Mgt Team

      Pros

      Solid Company, good training program, many experienced and successful account managers. Some good commercial sales leaders.

      Cons

      Do NOT accept a role as Account Manager with a branch that is a “Combo” branch. Only join a “commercial” branch if you want to be in commercial sales as a sales Mgr. It’s a known problem inside Orkin that Account Managers in Combo branches are at a tremendous disadvantage because the sales office management team focus almost exclusively on residential sales and are NOT that knowledgeable about commercial sales. This greatly diminishes the ability to learn the ropes and have success.

      Pay is decent and u can make commission off sales

      Heavy Work hours racial mico aggressions lack of respect they play favorites with co workers and no community support

      Long Hours, Not Enough Pay

      -decent pay for area -benefits/401k -company truck/phone -flexible-ish schedule -pto/sick days

      Cons

      -communication from management is very subpar -managers often have a "don't care" attitude -not a very good work-life balance at all -not enough incentives to keep up with the demanding work flow -pay is inconsistent as it is production based
