      Pros

      Meeting new customers out in the field. You don't have management standing over your back while you are working. This is probably the best pest control company to work for in the industry.

      Cons

      The pay is not that great. I have been working for this company for over 5 years generating about 40,000 in production a month. They started me out at 10.00 and I am now making 14 an hour. Other techs who have been there a shorter amount of time make more than me because they beg for more money. Its really not fair and I have more experience.

      Pros

      Orkin does provide the right technology for excellent service (depending on the ethics of each technician, of course). There is constant training and updates for the technical side of Orkin. Management TRIES to provide a helping hand but it's amazing to me how behind the times they are!

      Cons

      PAY. PAY. PAY. Benefits. I've worked for many great companies who compensate their employees properly but Orkin seriously lacks the competitive edge. I am loyal to Orkin because in 6 years, I've seen so many other bad pest control companies and how they operate so I would never work for another PC company BUT in 6 years, my pay raise has been about 1% a year, if I'm lucky! They only pay 5% on one-times (bed bug, bird work, product sales) which is ridiculous.

      free pest control and like 1 time a yr they take ya to a braves game....

      Cons

      major micro managing 24/7 up to 6 months to get paid on commission sales long hours in heat for low pay upper management always letting there workers take the fall for there own mess ups
