Pros

fun group of guys and gals to work with. great way to learn skills (sales, customer service) it CAN be fun

Cons

unrealistic expectations - 17 stops a day on my route not counting the 2-3 starts the call center was gonna sell and send you to (which most of the time was an hour away) and they expect you to be at EACH stop 30 mins at the bare minimum and an hour for starts - very poor pay long hours new service starts pop up day of. working on Saturdays no bonus pay for holidays. zero opportunity to advance up the ladder unless you're one of the sales guys, it seems the only people who get moved up to service or even branch manager are termite sales guys. cant idle trucks, so if its 100 degrees outside you get to just overheat and they could care less as long as you get your stops done that day.

Pros

- Company Car *You pay for it.* - Good Commisions *If you're a good liar.*

Cons

- Pressure to sell when customers don't need anything. - They charge you to work for them. - Management changes every 6 mos. Literally, all managers are always trying to move up at all times. - If you do well, all managers you like will be promoted. - When you do well, they will expect more the following year without helping you sell more. - They really don't understand new ways of doing anything. They rely on old ppl calling in so they can scam them. - It does not matter how well you do, they will fire at the drop of a hat. They do not care about their employees at all. - The company is being prepared to be sold off. It is no longer a reputable company. Its sole focus now is to pump up numbers and sell off the brand. - There is no work life balance. They will want you to work 6 days a week. Even when there are no calls to go to. They will want you to call old ppl and schedule "inspections". Inspections at this company are sales calls. It is the biggest scam out there. - The successful guys at this are liars. They prey on single women and old peoiple. They lie to make sales and when it comes to pest control, no one knows if you're telling the truth. I've seen lots of guys go into attics and straight lie to people saying they have infestations. - It's a legal ponzi scheme.

Pros

Good work environment. Decent benefits. Local managers are easy to work with. Get to take work truck home.

Cons

Have to pay each check to take work truck home. Pay is production so if you have been there 10 years you get paid the same as someone day 1 on a route. Recently we had a snow storm hit the area and couldn't work for a week. We weren't compensated any of those days. Instead we were asked to use our vacation days (couldn't use sick days) to get paid. So now I only have a week of vacation left for the entire year! After this, Co-workers have told me they are looking for new employment.
