Opportunities for everyone...women, men, everyone. Get to help people, opportunity to learn and grow as an individual, each day is different, get to work outside - not stuck in an office or warehouse (for sales and service positions), unlimited learning, get to exercise decision making, personal development never stops, development focused on personal development and industry development. Ladies...this is a great career choice and a great company that focuses on developing everyone.

Cons

Development and use of new technology is slow. Change of operating procedures is slow due to regulations required of a publicly held company. Not a show stopper, but is evident to employee base. Still a great place to work.

Pros

Orkin did a great job at getting you to buy in to their culture. Provided a company vehicle, help set up your office, set you up with all the Orkin swag (hats, raincoats, North Face jackets). Got a company iPhone & iPad, very independent in how you work.

Cons

Tough market right now, walking into businesses, cold calling and asking if they need pest control services. Not ideal in the middle of a pandemic. Also had to work weekends if the region was not at a certain percent of the goal by a certain part of the month. Training was poor, just watched videos, didn't really learn about how to treat, just more about identifying pests.
