Orkin is a great company, I have been working for Orkin for the past 21 years, and I'm planning to retire from Orkin. It is a great company to work for; they have been around for over 120 years. For me, it is job security, lots of companies went out of business through a recession, and Covid and Orkin managed to hire more employees around this time. Excellent leadership; I was blessed to work for great leaders who helped me be who I'm today. They lead by example, and they will help you grow with the company. It feels like a family working for Orkin. I enjoy working for Orkin. Great company, great benefits, and outstanding leadership.

Cons

I really can't think of anything that Orkin needs to change. The company set up a quarterly town hall, and they listen to their employees, and they fix and solve any issues that the employees share with them. Orkin cares so much about the safety of the employees that we talk about safety all the time. Great company.

Established tenured company who provides excellent training to their employees. In my tenure working at Orkin, this company has proven itself over and over again to be recession proof. They provide their employees good over-all benefits. Family owned business who takes care of their employees as long as you meet standards/expectations. Company owned vehicle to drive daily is a big perk!

Could provide a better promotional path for their employees.
