We are disappointed that this is your experience with the company. As a Home Inspector, you have a role that is both challenging and rewarding in relation to the people you are helping every day. However, the role should not be a 7 day a week job that takes advantage of anyone. A single mans job

Great coworkers Great money Getting to be outside of a building during the day.

Cons

Extraordinarily long hours, 12-15 hours a day. Little to no work/life balance. Don't dare take vacation time or you will be penalized for being unable to complete your work for the month. Harsh expectations come with this. Region only cares about numbers, not employees and this trickles down to the technician level. Near constant stress from this causes high employee turnover, leaving the branch perpetually short staffed leading to a dysfunctional and extremely demanding workplace.

Staffing has been a challenge recently and with unemployment rates at an all time low, finding qualified candidates continues to be a daunting task for our management teams. We recognize the amount of stress and time necessary to do quality service during our peak season and would like to first say “thank you” for your hard work and dedication as well as assure you we will continue to look more closely at staffing as well as areas we can improve through our Employee Satisfaction survey process as well as with local management to determine the best place to begin.
