Constant pressure to schedule appointments with these list that are not updated. Use to work for a competitor and they had schedulers who made regular appointments and reinspections all we had to do is go run the appointments. Here at Orkin so much focus is on calling these customers I don't feel we get enough selling time because we end up on the phone all day calling hustling for appointments. I feel they need to update the sales process and not rely so much to the inspector.

You feel like someone is always watching you. Every step of the process is questioned, if not from management, then from the CSS’s. Questions come even if the person has been on the job for several years. Your GPS is monitored and brought up during check-ins. There have been times where management has looked the other way when work has been done poorly on a sold job in the field, but question why you were only at a house for 15 minutes. Management wonders why you have no appointments scheduled even though you make a serious effort to call and set up reinspections. They don’t want to hear reality for why there are no appointments and seem to encourage us to do inspections to make their numbers. There’s a lot more examples I can describe but don’t have the time. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
