major micro managing 24/7 up to 6 months to get paid on commission sales long hours in heat for low pay upper management always letting there workers take the fall for there own mess ups

Management seems as though they are unwilling and do not care to connect with Technicians. Either they have been off the actual job for a long time, or they have hired a new manager that has zero pest control experience and/or just blatantly do not care. No real schedule, if you have a family you had better say your good byes, you will never see them again...ever. 7:30am to 7-9pm is an average daily schedule. They will work you to death and get mad when you call out sick though technically you are human and not a robot. If you are a robot then yes, Orkin is the perfect place to work!! I am hourly, making a few dollars over minimum wage, no health care and seemingly no benefits of any kind other then having managers taking an hour out of our paychecks for lunch even when they know that there is absolutely NO time for lunch with all the jobs they give us. It is truly unacceptable to text your employee at 5:40pm on friday to tell them that they are working Saturday morning. They treat you like dirt and pay you the same way.
