Orlando Health keeps taking the meager bonuses and incentives away., while the competition increases salaries, bonuses and perks. Upper management gives an air of being above the rest. We dont always have the necessary tools to perform our job in the best way. Too many budget cuts in the wrong areas.

Facing possible layoff in my dept now. Nurses seem especially stressed although are great at their jobs. Sometimes hard to transfer if current manager has hard to fill dept. Many times it is who you know in the organization that is the key to getting hired, not necessarily an outstanding resume'. Ongoing construction projects sometimes too noisy.
